 III John 9-10, "Don't Be Diotrephes"

What is wrong about the attitude and behavior of Diotrephes?

1.  Diotrephes put himself first (v. 9; Matt. 6:33; Col. 1:18).

2.  Diotrephes rejected the authority of the Apostle John (vv. 9-10; Heb. 13:17).

3.  Diotrephes cast people out of the church if they did not agree with him (v. 10; Rom. 12:4-10).
